Bravo AV Takes You Through the Options
The summer season is in full swing. In the past few months in this space, we’ve talked about all manner of ways to get more out of our New Jersey summers with outdoor technology. From outdoor sun shades to landscape lighting to outdoor TVs, you can make your outside space the summer entertainment zone for family and friends. Like any good thing in life, careful planning goes a long way toward making the most of your outdoor technology investment. Last month we discussed some tips for making the most of your outdoor sound system, and this month we’d like to cover some of the ins and outs of outdoor TV installation options. If you think you might be restricted with where you can place an outdoor TV (or multiple TVs), you’ll be happy to learn that with the right planning you can put one virtually anywhere you desire. After all, what you want to do is enjoy your outdoor space with a healthy dollop of entertainment, not just have a boring sitting area with a TV. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the placement options for outdoor TVs for your Mendham property. You might just say, “I didn’t know we could do that!”
Watch Where You Want There's nothing that says that your outdoor TV needs to go in a shaded patio or outdoor room. That might be an excellent option for your needs, but you may want to keep an eye on the game while you do something else. How about a TV in your outdoor kitchen? You can follow along with a great grilling recipe, learn the right time to bake your pizza in the outdoor oven, or, of course, watch a game while you cook. A TV can also display the music source and song title playing on your outdoor speakers; it's easier to glance at the large TV screen than pick up your smartphone or tablet to see what's playing. You can watch from the pool, too. Models in Séura’s Ultra Bright series are made to go in full sun and can withstand splashing and summer rainstorms. You can go as big as 86 inches, which will let you catch the action even from the far end of the pool. Séura mounts are weatherproof, and they also have custom protective covers for the winter season when not in use. While you can get excellent sound from the soundbars built into Séura TVs, we can also route your TV sound throughout your outdoor speaker system so you can clearly hear as you move around the back yard. Why not go with more than one TV? You can have one by the spa, one by the outdoor kitchen and bar, and one in your covered patio. For shaded areas, the Séura Shade series is the one to choose. With a wide 178-degree viewing angle, everyone can gather around and watch a bright and sharp picture, during the day or night.
The Right Plan Planning your outdoor space takes as much effort as your indoor areas, if not more. By working with your contractor, landscape architect, and other professionals, Bravo AV makes sure the right infrastructure is in place for your outdoor TV and entertainment. This may mean running conduit for wiring to all the necessary locations; it may mean installing one or more outdoor Wi-Fi access points to ensure all devices that need wireless connectivity are supported with a strong signal. It might entail working with specific landscape requirements or built-ins in your outdoor space, and making sure there are no conflicts, functionally or aesthetically, with hidden infrastructure. Bravo AV will be your technology integration partner to evaluate all the options with outdoor TV and entertainment, working with your chosen professionals to ensure that the entertainment and smart control will be an integral part of your space and not an afterthought.
